I really can't believe I'm already doing my July monthly wrap-up! I know we're all saying how we can't believe it's already August, but I really can't. I love the fall and winter, but I'm also going to be moving next month and I'm not exactly jumping for joy about it, so I have mixed feelings this year. :O
Regarding books, however, I had a good month! I read some truly fantastic books this month (and a few not-so-great) and I can't wait to see what August has in store. I have, as always, listed all of my blog activity from July below, so feel free to take a look and see what's been going on!

I just picked up my copy of Ash and Quill and I can't wait to start in on it! :)
ReplyDeleteLauren @ Always Me
Oh yay! I hope you enjoy(ed) it!
DeleteI've heard really good things about Renee's books, and though I have often thought about reading them, of late, I've been thinking more it might not be a "good" fit for me. (I.e., I'm back to trying to define my favored genres.)
ReplyDeleteI've also looked at 'Dreamer' a lot too as it seems like a popular novel AND the author is a much loved literary talent. :)
Yeah, I've heard so many fantastic things about her books as well and I have wanted so badly to like them, but I just couldn't really get into any of her books thus far. People seem to either really love them or really not.
DeleteDreamer is lovely! It's a bit on the slower side, but I think that is a perfect fit for both the story and Taylor's writing style. Definitely recommend it. :)
