608 pages? That's almost two hundred pages more than either of the first two books, so I'm really excited to see what is going to be in all of that. I've been really enjoying this series, so the fact that this is out in about two months is extremely exciting.

This sounds like a ride and I am here for it. I love that this is a sci-fi mixed with Korean mythology influences because that's not something that I think I've seen, and it sounds wonderful.

Haruki Murakami is one of my all-time favorite authors. Every book he writes is an auto-buy for me and I've probably read all but one or two of his books. I just cannot get enough and often consider his books a 'palette cleanser' when I'm feeling overwhelmed by life or other books. All that being said--I'm beyond thrilled for this book! My boyfriend went to Japan last summer and brought me back the Japanese edition of this book (since it came out in Japanese last year), so it's been a cruel irony to have the book in my possession but not be able to read it. But our turn is almost here!

For some reason I thought that I had already featured The Fall of Gondolin in a Can't-Wait Wednesday post, but apparently I haven't--so here it is! I'm really looking forward to checking this one out and also seeing Alan Lee's gorgeous illustrations.

I haven't read many things related to King Midas, so I thought that this sounded particularly exciting for that element. This sounds like it will be a pretty fun adventure, so I look forward to its release!

Anticipated August 2018 Releases!

         

Well, July is speeding by and now it's just about time for some August new releases. I'm not entirely sure when it decided to so late in the year so quickly, but here we are. There are some fantastic looking books coming out next month (literally--have you seen those covers!?) and I can't wait to dive into some of them!
